Ian, Ian, Ian.

The proper line is

"Does the Pope wear a funny hat?"

Looking forward to the book.

doh!

No wonder I got awkward silence when I asked if the Pope in the woods.

That would be an ecumenical matter.

If you don't actually post a Father Ted pic with that quote Andy it doesn't work.

Where were you this time last week :baiting:

I saw this book at the London Film and comic con this year and thought it was fantastic. I would really be interested in buying it if it wasn't over £100. I just have more important things to spend my money

I just wondered if anybody has seen this amazing book yet. 700 pages thick.

I understand that people were queueing up to see it at the New York Comic Con.

I think it looks amazing, and has to be the all-time ultimate book on the subject.

I'd sell you mine, but Metro made me a better offer.

I just heard from Amazon.com on Thursday that my book was shipping, so I'll be enjoying it very soon. Final price was only $31.50 with free shipping. :cloud9:

Is that a typo? I don't see it for less than $100 anywhere?

No typo. I looked at the bill I got by email when they notified me it was shipping. Maybe I got a super-secret discount. :whee:

Book arrived today too. :acclaim:

So does this book have the same standard pictures (cover of Action 1, Det 27, etc) or does it have more original stuff? (things like original art, pictures of staff, promotional stuff, maybe stuff like some old Julie S. notes like those in that DC Vault book...)

Much more original stuff. And no standard pics either of Action 1 or Detective 27 but brand new detailed photos that look closer to the cover than any pics before.

That has to be some type of error at that price.

Taschen notified me that my copy was shipping, so here soon...

I don't understand you, and I don't understand this unnecessary vile snipe.

I didn't write the book, it was Paul Levitz.

I allowed them to photograph my comics, but why should my ego be involved. It's not MY book, just one I'm very excited about.

It's posts like this that ruin forums like this. Hope you're proud of yourself, pal.

oh you understand perfectly well. You arent content to sit back and wait for the book to be released and soak up the accolades for you part in it..... you have to start a thread to jumpstart interest.

ask your therapist why you constantly feel the innocent as you dig your own grave and attract the catcalls you claim to have no part in eliciting.
