You didn't miss it......this thread is still full of great books at great prices...it's paradise for an FF collector. I'm surprised the 20 lasted so long, and that the 27 and 43 are still here. The 49 looks as good as a lot of 9.0's I've seen as does the 50. If gaz had posted this thread on Thursday we'd see a lot more gone. Saturday night's a ghost town on the boards. GOD BLESS...

The 27 and 50 are some very nice copies. I have a couple copies of 27 and still need to upgrade I've always found that issue a difficult book to find in higher grades with nice colors.

Okay...Well I DO remember when SOMEONE bought it in early 2007. This copy had been sold at the same time I bought an 8.0 #36 from the same seller in Jan 2007. It was sold before I could nab it...Anyways its a sweet copy :thumbsup:

Yeah, certainly a sweet copy. Was it board member Frederick Something-or-other who was the seller? The whole scenario seems very familiar to me. I think I PM'd the seller when I was a newbie. I must still have the PM. hm

 

You guys have good memory! I did sell the FF 33 luncheonnette copy and FF 36 8.0 CGC back in 2007. Both books were bought slabbed so I have no pressing history on those. The luncheonnette copy was bought directly for the original owner of the luncheonnette "pedigree" (Harry, I believe) so I'm pretty sure this one was not pressed.
