I think the QP 10.0 grade must allow for some level of subjective flexibility .

The Team-Up 20 and Ghost Rider 1 both have wrap-angle issues... both nice books, but the lines just aren't straight.

 

The WBN is a heart-breaker because at one time that one WAS gorgeous... frown.gif

Here's something you may have never seen brought up before.

Did you realize that a lot of the books were designed out of square?

Therefore, if the book is *cut* squarely, those books have the correct wrap.

This is very common from the early '70's through the late '80's.

Now here's the same pic brought into Photoshop and I've added some blue grid lines that represent *squareness*.

Note the banner at the top is not square. If the book is cut squarely, the banner will be running at a diagonal as the books you commented on are.

I also placed grid lines around the outside of the art to show that I have it square to begin with.
