I'm sorry it's such a chore for you to dig around the birthday wishes to find the pressing threads.

Maybe we need a forum just for the pressing threads so crabbyasses like yourself can go be bitter in one confined area.

 

 

Yeah, we desperately need a forum for all those pressing threads that are everywhere. Geez, it's getting so that I can't find more than twenty birthday threads because of all the pressing threads cluttering up the place.

 

We'll make an effort by omitting yours. I assume you want to lead by example. :foryou:

Nothing wrong with everybody having a birthday thread, it's when people are still bumping it days after the birthday is over that you get a forum full of them.

Just at the constant bumping of out of date HBD threads. :eek:

I think a thread with all the Birthdays may be a great idea. This is how I see it done on other forums. I must admit I like seeing all the HBD threads but I am with Garry that it can get a bit much at times. :)

Personally, I don't see the big deal with all the birthday threads...its a nice touch, shows a communal spirit and draws everyone a bit closer. I had a bday thread not too long ago...I was very surprised by the number of well wishes and messages from the boardies. There are a lot of other things on the boards worth complaining about, and even then I wouldn't waste time doing so. IMHO of course.

Everyday there should be just one thread made with all the names in the title whose birthday it is that day and it should not be bumped when 48 hours have passed.

 

I know some peoples buddies like to be the one who makes the thread instead but perhaps they will be content making the most interesting and creative one in the days birthday thread
