"I have 5 premier booths"

>>You'll have to enlighten us as to what those are.<<

I purchased the more expensive booth/table spaces at the front of the Hynes entrance labeled "premeire booths" on the show site map direct from the promoter, my pal James Talbot.

I'll be real easy to find Stop by.

I dunno, it's tough to judge some of these books on 1 issue.

27 isn't bad, it just wasn't WOW that's a great #1 issue. 2c

Comics are written for the TPB format and need time to tell the story. Most new comics are going to get a failing grade based on 1 or 2 issues.

The Walking Dead is a perfect example. WD is one of my favorite comics and a huge hit. BUT, if you read #1 when it came out and stopped. It sucked!! Plain and simple. It comes off as a rip off of 28 days later. It wasn't until #6 that it started to have some unique shock value and came into its own as a comic.

Books like 27, MG and Skullkickers are being judged against the ridiculous speculation prices they commanded. So of course they were going to have a tough time matching the hype.

Walking dead issue #1 is what hooked me onto the series

Hey Larry,

I'll take credit for Morning Glories #1 thank you.

Way before your spec thread.

Considering it was already a hit when you speculated on issue #2 (2's notorious for

being under ordered) I'd say #2 was a no-brainer (perhaps why you picked it?)

lol That was an old post! You must be catching up on old threads.

I put it in the context of reading it when it first came out, like the other books people were speculating on.

It was back in 2003 when WD #1 1st hit the stands, which was right after the movie 28 Days. The movie was pretty popular, and if you had just seen that movie the WD #1 really was a copy.

I think Kirkman himself even stated it in interviews too. When he saw the movie, he was like ", now people are going to think I stole that!" lol
