Another modern speculation thread....

Same here. I bought 4 copies of Morning Glories, sold 2 for $35 each and I still have 2. I also sold my 2 copies of Skullkickers the day of and made good coin. The only stinkers I followed up on were Action Comics and 27 (although I could have made had I sold instead of held). I mean it's up to everybody what they decide to buy, but I would have known about just 2 of these had these boards not been here, he's O.K in my book!

Jay

morning glories wasn't a larry pick here I don't think, so he doesn't get credit for that even if he's made a killing off them. ratchet & clank, i believe, was the first pick and skullkickers was a bit later (though that as well as 27 had been hyped in bleedingcool as well)

I contacted Image BEFORE the book shipped based on previews they sent me, and ordered 1,000 ( more than ANY shop in the world )

& they created a special cover for my shop. I'll take credit for that pick . Thanks.

The thread did NOT exist when #1 was printed. I picked #2 on thread.

Chuck sold me comics that he bought from reading this thread. Thought he was pretty cool to deal with. I have NO idea what his problem is.

Shall I post the paypal transaction?

What's the point of that, I've already said as much is true.

I don't have a problem with you, other than you get annoyed openly over any observation I make that doesn't mirror yours.

I don't know you, other than our transaction, where you put your money where your mouth was, and I have nothing but positive to say about it.

Having said that, I will continue to state whatever opinion or snide remark I choose to make on whatever topic I please, within the guidelines of this forum. If you don't like it, that's tough.

I don't like some of the things you say either.

The difference is, I post a view back, as opposed to threaten to give out mailing address', personal information, etc.

I mean really... A cyber bully? How childish.

the question wasn't whether you were right previously, but whether you were right in the threads you started posting in like 3 or 4 months ago here, one of which was locked. morning glories 2 might have been in one of those threads as well, I can't remember. my shop either didn't have any left or only mangled ones, i forget.

my guess is that if one bought one copy of every non-variant touted by larry in these threads and one sold what one could sell at the peak (more or less), one would have a wash.

I'm taking credit.

let me refresh your memory. It was.

>>my shop either didn't have any left or only mangled ones, i forget.<<

Who cares?

>>my guess is that if one bought one copy of every non-variant touted by larry in these threads and one sold what one could sell at the peak (more or less), one would have a wash.<<

I NEVER told you to buy anything. I was posting what I was buying & asking what you were buying

This is retarded. I quit again.

(actually just wanted to post with the CBSA banner, get word out)

If you emailed me in the last few months that you enjoyed this thread.

Get this out there.

It'll be live Tuesday with Death in the Fantastic Four info.

By info I mean WHO dies & How I'm planning on pocketing a little coin in a short window. OK, one real good long term spec book applies too.

Ha!

Hey Larry,

I'll take credit for Morning Glories #1 thank you.

http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=4484873&fpart=1

Way before your spec thread.

Considering it was already a hit when you speculated on issue #2 (2's notorious for

being under ordered) I'd say #2 was a no-brainer (perhaps why you picked it?)

I'm taking credit.Of course you are. I wouldn't expect any less.

(actually just wanted to post with the CBSA banner, get word out) Spam, glorious spam.

Respectfully This is the really funny part. I'm not sure you have ever made any respectful posts or treated any other human beings with respect. In fact, I'd wager that you are an obnoxious blowhole to everyone.

"Rock"

I "NEVER" offered any of you advice on what to purchase. I wrote about what I was buying & asked what you were buying.

hm

Really...?

Do you believe this?

'Cuz no one else does.

Hope you did well with all those Invincible #1's you "cornered the market with"

"Larry"...you labor under the impression that I was "cornering" any market. I bought 10 copies. Of a print run...reportedly...of 1,000, is 10 a lot...? And since it wasn't a "new" book, but rather an aftermarket variant, it's not all that speculative, is it?

But you're correct in one respect: it taught me how little value "Larry's Comics" variants have. Boy, what stinkers.

Ha.

I haven't posted on here in a month and i STILL get emails asking for your name and adress. People hate you.

Well...I DO have a custom title to maintain, after all...

I'm just surprised that you have let a total stranger sharing an opinion have such control over your emotions that you have offered to steal my identity...and no doubt actually done it, too. That's not healthy, "Lar".

It's a good thing I have a healthy self-esteem, or I'd be bothered by all those people hating me. ;)

All you do comes right back at ya.

It's true. One reaps what one sows. Happens to everyone.

And Chuck. Obviously with Morning Glories alone, I'm up. Big

I have moved on....

(tsk)

If you had truly moved on, you would not have made this post.

;)

Cool.

I have the last 3 posters blocked.

I would imagine they said really nice & insightful things though.
