Maybe I am blind, but I dont see anything from the scans that would keep this from a 9.0.

 

Am I missing something? What does everyone see that makes it a 7.0?

I see creasing below the left part of the word scroll, creasing below the "S" in the word ARMS, then more wear to the right of the scroll. Some corner creasing bottom right, some spine creasing and spine ticks, an impacted top left corner.

I agree with you. My first reaction was 9.0 but I think 8.0 would be the lowest this gets. I have 9.0 and 8.5 slabs that are consistent with the extent of the defects on this copy. Nice book!
