Okay, I could see this anywhere in the 9.2 to 9.6 grade, but really who guessed 6.0?

 

Anyways, I saw it as a 9.2 and bumped it to the 9.4. So I lucked out there.

Yeah that was me picking a 6. Actually pegged it at a 7, but

I always think of myself wish as liberal with black covers.

I would never sell a raw "9.4" that had a color breaking corner crease, no matter how small.

I picked 8.0 and was teetering on 8.5 but chose 8.0. 9.4 is way beyond what I could consider even possible for the defects I saw.

 

Perhaps the scan is showing them more than they actually present in hand...

 

Anyway, I'll be better for the next round....

A 9.2 wouldn't have surprised me but I still wouldn't put it at a 9.4. I think I should bump the grades on the stuff in my online store.

I also said 9.0. I thought that the color breaking creases would bring it down, but it's a beautiful book.

Yeah, that grade shocked me. I chose 8.5 solely on the basis that Overstreet says no corner creases on a 9.0 or better. Still it's fun to play this.

I am totally with you.I said 8.5 too as many spine ticks and a corner crease? I need to get a bunch of books graded right away while they are grading soft.

I was on the verge of typing 9.4 and then figured no way. CGC has been tight lately as well so i went with 9.2

I said 9.2, but could have gone 9.0 or 9.4. The book honestly looks like a nice copy, should have added the Nik bump. Now im just tied with Boozad...
