Back from the casino, did some shopping!!!

Today is my 13th anniversary and my wife and I went on a Casino cruise out of port Canaveral Florida. I didn't win anything, but since we each took $320 with us and I came back with $280 after 5 hours of gambling, it was a moral victory to say the least.

 

I was down to my last $60 bucks and I decided to go out with a bang on the $5 dollar slots. I got triple bars across the pay line and it paid me $200 bucks, which means I was just about even.

 

I know to quit while I am ahead or at least before I lose all my money so when I got back I put my $280 to good use on Ebay

I think you overpaid on the IF 15.

I paid exactly what it books for as a VF and it's already graded. Had I waited and not pulled the trigger on the BIN I believe I could have gotten it for a lower price, but with the free shipping.........I don't think it was a bad deal.

Its not a bad price, and its a very cool book. As long as you are happy with what you picked up, then more power to you.

I want to public state for the record that...... BLOWOUT was right about me over paying

 

I just won a CGC 8.5 for $20 bucks, so in essence I got more book for half the price

This is a lesson for you newer guys buying CGC books. Don't jump on ever buy it now you see as you might be able to get books cheaper by just bidding on them outright!!!

My wife and I went to the casinos in Tunica MS one year on our anniversary.

We arrived at 4pm and planned on playing all night and make the drive back early in the morning.

We each had $300. She heads for the slot machines, I head for the craps table.

(I have this addiction to shooting dice.)

I get a spot on a table, ready for a night of Fever in the Funk House!

 

15 minutes later, I found my wife at one of the slots.

She asks if I want to go play blackjack.

I say...only if you have enough money for both of us to play.

Needless to say, she was pissed.

 

So anyway, we go play blackjack for an hour.

We're up...We're down...etc.

We have a few free drinks.

After a few hours, we are busted.

 

On the way out of the casino, she needs to use the restroom before the trip home.

I'm waiting next to a row of slot machines and start scrounging up change from my pocket.

I find a few quarters and plunk them into the slot.

She leaves the restroom just as I hit it for $5, and snatches *my* quarters out of the tray.

She says..."You owe me" and hands me a few quarters for me to get my jollies.

She walks to another row out of my sight as I put my few quarters in without any results.

Then I hear...DING DING DING DING DING DING DING!!!!

I look up and she's in front of her machine screaming.

Turns out, she hit it for $400.

 

She bailed us out.

We ended up running into some friends a little while later and played blackjack until 6am.

We got Fit Shased on free booze, had a live blues band playing next to our table, laughed, talked and had a ball the rest of the night.

 

The time came for us to leave and we cashed in.

We had exactly $600.

The exact total we came in with.

We had a hell of a time and it ended up not costing us a cent.

 

It's a good thing she's stubborn enough to steal my quarters, or we would have been out money and a good time.
