Wish I'd known about this ahead of time, I would have taken the time to vote. I'm a sucker for these things, though they need to be taken with a grain--er, bowl-full of salt.

LOVE Frank Quitely.

#2, he is not.

It's interesting to see the changing demographics of the poll participants reflected in the results so you see modern era artists making the list.

However, to OA collectors, the list is all meaningless as you should collect what you like and not let others influence what you buy.

Cheers!

Agreed and this is probably why the market price of these artists does not at all follow this chart, and if you believe they do, I'll find some Quitely art to trade you for your Bolland and Adams pieces.

However, taking into account the changing demographics that Nelson notes above, the market prices for work by these artists may follow the chart in the not too distant future. . . . hmmmm.

There are very few artists in the history of comics that I dislike more than Quietly.

I'd be damn close to making him #2 on my "50 Worst Comic Artists" list.

Unbefugginlievable... :screwy:

After looking through it there are so many bizarre things to point out but obviously everything from #2 on can't be taken seriously, so I'll not bother.

Did you get this list off The Onion website?
