Super high grade books.. super high prices.

You never know who's out there looking to pay some out there sum, but my guess is Hoodeedoo will be holding these books at some of those prices.

I don't think he has. I watched him buy large chunks of the 9.4s and 9.6s off of E-Bay. He said he bought the White Mountain copies raw in the mid-1990s, but I think he bought most of the CGC books already slabbed.

pardon my ignorance, but that ASM #67 listed Curator

What makes a comic a "Curator copy" and was this submitted with a certificate to CGC?

 

I don't think there are Curator certificates, but Borock and Haspel know the guy who submitted them, the dealer he bought them from (John Hauser), and they know of the original owner the dealer got them from, so they can trace the chain of custody right back to the original owner.
