I went with DD1, FF48 an AVENGERS1...as others have said they're all tough choices from here on out. I actually think AV4 is more key than AV1...AV1 basically being an amalgamation of Heroes that already existed, most in their own books or sharing books wth others. AV4 as the first SA Cap trumps AV1 in my mind...

B&B28/1stJLA, similar to AV1, will be in my next vote off the island...

I love that Adventure #247...you know, the book that essentially inspired the X-Men...has been voted off before...you know...the X-Men....

;)

Well, at least it did a lot, lot better than Doom Patrol / My Greatest Adventure 80 lol(shrug)

Avengers 1 - really, I can't understand how its stayed on the list this long

FF48 - Lee and Kirby had a particularly imaginative run from issue 39-55 and introduced a lot of character, cosmic, frightful, black, sonic, etc.

Showcase 4 - I don't consider this the start of the Silverage nor do I consider the Flash to be a particularly interesting or innovate character. He is a 2nd tier DC character and this book's value and 'noteworthiness' is nothing more than over-elevated hype.

It looks like this round will eliminate ASM 1. I am shocked. In my comic collecting youth no comic garnered more excitement than ASM 1. Daredevil 1 is more important than ASM 1 ? Unbelievable.

Don't get me wound up on this again. I have no way of understanding how this book can garner so many votes this early in the polling. Its ridiculous.
