Is CGC taking SS book via mail? :wishluck:

CGC usually doesn't attend this show, and it's not on their schedule.

It should be on their schedule.

It really should. It makes no sense why they attend the smaller 'other show' and not the two big ones. I know this is no fault of the organizers and for the life of me I cannot figure out CGC's logic.

How many books do we have to guarantee for CGC to make an appearance. Is there another comicon that weekend?

Hard to say. There used to be a need for 1500-2000 submitted books to make it worth their while, but I'm not sure that is the case any more... they do have to book flights, hotel, shipping, etc. and that does add up. Perhaps if people contacted them and let them know? If you are definitely in for books that helps. I do think the free element will encourage a few people that don't like to pay admission to go to the dealers room to come down, and if they can submit books to CGC, even better.

Worse case scenario they might be able to send a CAW to the event.

As it stands I don't think there are any major comic show conflicts, although MOCCA (an indie comics festival in NYC is also happening the same weekend).

Marcio Takara (The Incredibles) has notified us that he is moving back to Brazil and that this show will be his last Toronto event and your last chance to get a sketch, buy a print or an original page from this amazing artist! We will miss him!

Would be nice! Plan is still to announce the guest list for Fan Expo Canada in early May... but it is possible we might be willing to share some info if you ask Tiz or Aman nicely at Fan Appreciation...

That sounds fair!

This show looks great regardless if there are announcements or not. Nice work bringing it together.
