Why is X-Men 1 rated so highly in a silver age poll? The 60s version had extremely minimal impact on the silver age.

 

I believe that X-Men #1 should rank fairly high on this list for some of the reasons already mentioned.

 

Out of curiosity though in regards to your statement above, couldn't the same be said for Hulk #1 as the original series only lasted for six issues?

Looks like it`s going to be Avengers 1 & 4 and ASM 1 in a landslide in this round.

 

However, it looks like the Marvel fans are sharpening the knives and B&B 28 and Showcase 22 will go out next round.

I hope ASM 1 at least hangs in there to take 10th place. It would be a shame to not acknowledge ASM 1 as a top ten book.
