Three big keys for us X-Men collectors. Somehow I think that this person is a tad over optimistic about the grades on these. I do like how he informs us that he doesn't work for CGC... I would have never guessed that one.

over optimistic or not...the bidding is already at $127, with 9 days to go!! It seems to be a great lot...wonder what the final catch price will be...and with no reserve!

They mus know something we don't. They say the books are "CGC VF-NM" - where did they get CGC's grading criteria???!!!

I threw a couple of bids on it and now I'll sit back and watch to see if I really want to commit

 

I agree that none of these books are VF-NM, but the scans are good enough to get a rough idea.

For $150 he should get them slab by CGC

I gave the books the following:

 

GS X-Men 1: 4.0 (could be lower - has fugly water stain)

X-Men 94: 5.5 (fugly stuff on back cover brings it down)

Hulk 181: 8.0 (no b/c scan - I would request)

 

I haven't looked at his description.. are the books close to what he gave it?
