Art day: Ron Frenz's broken TOYMAN (Superman Villains Secret Files)

Hi all,

 

I just added a nice TOYMAN pinup from

SUPERMAN VILLAINS SECRET FILES.

 

The pieces was illustrated by Ron Frenz & Joe Rubinstein:

Toyman was always one of my favorite Superman villains

and Dan Jurgens' meta-textual revision was brilliant IMO.

 

I find this piece a nice understated portrait, truly befitting

Dan Jurgens take on the character.

 

Frenz wisely chose to portray the sad lonely man Winslow Schott was,

instead of shooting for an over the top, toy infested pinup.
