Not much love for the Lanterns so far this round! :o

To be honest, the GL covers are not that great. Outside of #76, the only ones that are above average are probably #79, #85, and #87. That is it. His covers on the Bats and Tec runs were much better than the GL run artistically.

Agreed, GL 85 is the best of his run on this title. There are so many good Bats/Detective covers comparatively.

When did Hot Wheels 2 become attributed to Adams? I didn't get the memo!! :frustrated:

I need to bust your chops on your 10,000th post! I prefer #78 to #85. That yellow really pops, and I love that GL and GA are portrayed as villains. #85 was always just kinda OK to me. Powerful message, but hard to make a heroin addict into an exciting cover. :baiting:

Hold on a sec, are we also voting on the colour in addition to the artwork? I thought voting was based solely on the artwork. (shrug)

Voting should be based on your favorites, period. However someone decides to classify the various factors that make a cover appealing to them is up to the eye of the beholder. If you think the colors accentuate the Adams pencils on a particular issue and that is why you like it, vote for it!

My votes...

From Beyond the Unknown 3

Detective Comics 400

Batman 222

Phantom Stranger 8

House of Mystery 187

Detective Comics 402

House of Secrets 87

I've found it quite difficult to make 7 choices in each 1970 section so far. The ones I like most this time are Detective Comics 400 and 402. From Beyond the Unknown 3 is a very nice cover, one I haven't seen before.
