I just purchased a ton of marvel Bronze horror in Chicago. I'll have the scans up in a few days. Dave Kapelka had one of the nicest selections for BH I have seen in a long time.

Is this a good comic? I love the cover and considered picking up a copy, is it worth buying?

I guess it depends on what you consider good.

 

If you like the fact that:

 

1. It's the first DC 100 pager

2. Has a great Wrightson cover and interior art

3. Decent stories but all are reprinted except for the Wrightson art

 

Then yeah, it's pretty good!

I still don't have a copy of that issue. Those are all very good reasons to like the issue! All of the 100 pagers/52 pagers had reprint content...I consider it more bang for your buck!

Oh yeah nothing wrong with reprints and to add more to it, it's one of those tough to find in HG black cover books. I also own a CGC 8.5 copy of this book but here's my reader copy with the Wrightson splash intros to the reprinted stories.

I sold my 9.4 copy because I want a 9.6...but this one is miscut and has OW pages. If I do bid on it these factors will affect my high bid...scarce or not.

 

I do hear that they will be getting some cool ba horror books, though....
