I picked up this awesome B&W compendium at the LCS shop today.

Has 500+ B&W pages and commentary on horror reprints covering spans all the way from yellowjacket comics 1 (1944) to 2004.

I'm more google-eyed over the FTDM and DON myself, as they are tough as nails in 9.4 or better (or at least that's the perception).

I'll have a few Charltons to post here shortly, but to be honest I'm not entirely motivated on sharing my enthusiasm b/c I know what happened last time I did...

 

What happened!? I don't recall, and I'm to lazy to scroll back.

Personally, I dig the Charltons.

GK and Charlton additions...GT #108 has a DC "feel" to it; plenty of kick! A couple from each Charlton and the last BK are technically "reprint" territory...I'm kinda into the 2nd and 3rd tier titles here; I would rather nail the coffin on my DC and Marvel sets.

Guide price is $55 in NM. So this sold for 29 times guide price. INSANE!
