I'm pretty sure that is a Neal Adams cover right?

You are correct, sir.

Don't know why I doubted myself, but I guess I expected it to be noted in OS as such! laugh.gif

Sterling... I've wondered that several times myself! I think it is somewhat humorous that they used repetitive themes so often. I guess when you are doing a genre publication over the course of several years, you are going to run out of ideas eventually or swipe yourself (purposefully or not) once in awhile.

I mean, how many times can Batman put the Joker in the Arkham pokey, right?

they both remind of an old movie called "on borrowed time" in which death gets trapped up in a tree and no one dies until he can get down. Cool movie, i think its late 30's. Its dark and humorous. Or maybe its wishful thinking on the part of Joe Orlando....

My http://www.sterlingcomics.com web site will be a concept site I will launch in 2005. Lot of cool ideas I hope will see the light!

Well, 153 have sold, but here is the link:

Due to scathing, I will no longer submit posts as to if/when books will be sold.

Thanks for the reference, shiver! WELL, NOW I KNOW! (an old Marvel cliche I saw repeated time and again on their bronze covers).

This is my favorite cover in the Scary Tales run. The colors just blow me away! Plus it sports a cool "Ghost Rider" type cover.

When it comes to Horror/Mystery books, dark foreboding colors are usually the norm. That is why when a colorful cover pops up it is like a breath of fresh air such as Creepy Things # 4!

Yup. I was a big fan of the Bronze Charlton horror titles.

Those painted covers used to give me the willies.

Great books! I don't see them in this nice of shape very often.
