1972 House of Secrets #104 white pages with glossy cover has to exist

i have about 12 copies from fine + to Nm , but none have white pages and high gloss cover

must have been a bad year for paper pulp quality? , since alot of comics from 1972 (20 cent)covers from both Marvel and DC have a different look to paper quality to them

I did read that in an article in comic book marketplace once about some bad years in 1972-1974 with paper shortage and they had some bad"batches" used

which reflected in the overall comic pulp paper lifespan and quality over the years

March on. I'll have all of my runs in high grade completed by then! screwy.gif

My biggest vice is avoiding cream pages, but even then I'll do it to fill a hole. Did that by buying a HoS 105 in CGC 9.2 for supa cheap.

 

Maybe Vince of Metropolis will start rolling out those White Oakland copies if you don't mind paying the $400 hit to get the copies confused-smiley-013.gif (some of the HoS issues are in 9.6/9.8)
