what did the 9.6 go for? I figure my copy for a 9.2, so its a different league altogether, but I am still curious. Its been one of my favorite adams covers since i was a kid and got a copy in FN. I guess I was 7th grade or so.

Yeah that was me who got the #2. Not too crazy about that wrap either.. At least it's straight.. Some of the wraps from that era looks like Picasso was working at the presses; this day Piet Mondrian was filling in for him

True--it is somewhat straight..unlike the #5 which does the cute 45 degree angle thing...I just don't like that much back cover to be on my front cover. Luckily, there's 3 or so 9.4 in the census for #2, so that wasn't too bad. #10 is 1 of 1...so that smarts. But, like everything else, it will change. I'll just use the "holding out for 9.6" excuse.

 

Congrats on those btw. This was a title I was "loosely" collecting...hope to get all 12 eventually. So now I believe I have 1,5,7,8,9,11, and 12 in 9.4. Just need 2,3,4,6, and 10.

Here's my UC #2...the QP isn't as good as I once thought...but still presentable.

 

Here's one of the things that drives me nuts: the inconsistency of the labels for the same issues. Notice yours has none. Mine has some. For the money we are paying, no book should have NO comments imho.

Thanks - yeah some 9.6's are bound to come along, I see the population is sparse.. I also picked up some books with Metro; I'm now in need of # 7, 11 and 12 - provided the raw NMs I got CGC's out at 9.4
