PGM: Hulk 180

Hi everyone,

 

After a lot of searching around I finally pulled the trigger on a Hulk 180. The only defects I noticed right away are what appears to be a tiny chip on the bottom of the front cover (under the "!"), and the bottom left corner on the front cover seems to be a bit blunted. I do not have a pic of the back cover but I'm told it is in great condition with no spine or staple damage at all. Also, no stamps cut out from the interior and the page quality looks to be off-white. So, what grade do you all think it is?

Hard to say from these pics alone. 9.4? But as you said, no back cover shot

To be honest, It's hard to give an accurate grade. It would be better if you posted scans. Pictures can obscure many defects.

Okay, the book arrived and I just took some more pics - having a bit of problem with scanning the back cover but no issues near the back spine.

It's hard to see some of the edges.

The scanner seemed to be cutting some of the edges off - I'll try taking pics with my digital camera instead.

If you scan it with a background (paper or cloth) your scanner shouldn't cut off the edges of the book.

I'm more like 8.5-9.0 due to the spine wear. A lot of that might press out.
