Sorry, no chemistry, the nylon was already made and used for stockings instead of parachutes.

Thanks for this thread. Thanks also for bringing Red Eagle to my attention. It is a classic American comic book, due for a quality reprinting.

 

Thompson's Robotman is as fun and energetic and enjoyable to read as Cole's Plastic Man.

 

I found these at various comic blogs (thanks, Pappy!).

 

Maybe D.C. can be convinced to issue a collection of Thompson's Robotman stories. :wishluck:
