PGM: Detective Comics #37

[Bat-Man]

Picked this Tec 37 up off eBay a few weeks back.

 

I've already got a grade in mind for it but wonder if I am being a bit too harsh, so I would be interested in my fellow boarides opinions.

 

 

 

My Notes:

Fully complete with no pieces missing

An overall worn copy

Cover is detached from both staples

1 inch spine split lower bottom of cover

A notable moderate spine roll

Pages are CR/OW, in my opinion (seller said OW/W)

Tape staining front cover upper staple, tape on interior cover top staple

No rust to staples

There is a stain that bleeds through interior cover back cover from back cover, touches last page but not to the other interior pages.

1.8 Because of the overall appearance and amount of staining. Not enough to drop to Fair (even with the detached cover), but enough to keep it from a solid GD, imo.

1.8 as the cover is loose - but the lack of any big color breaking crease through the art area makes it a desirable copy for the grade.

My initial grade that I gave it was a 1.5 with a possible shot at 1.8, but I'm leaning more with a 1.8 now.
