This won't end badly. I actually like the little gnome, despite his inability to check for Marvel value stamps....

Don't confuse me with Kongravy. I'm not that stupid, bald, or sexy.

If you were to take a picture with your collectibles, would'nt you be next to an AF 15 or something like it. (shrug)

The most expensive collections I've ever seen are right here on these boards.

This is just frickin' embarassing!!

"Brett has a comic which is rated as a 9.8 on the scale"

What, just one?

I promise you, this guy does not represent Australian collectors.

(Sticking a few Simpsons comics behind glass, what a m oron!)

yes but then

THIS is realy embarassing

His wife would complain about his obsession, but the collection has paid its way.

"She wanted a washing machine and dryer and she begged me for one.

"So a guy came around and bought one comic for $800 which bought her a washing machine and dryer," says Brett.

She begged for a washing machine

While 68k of books may not be all that impressive to some, 68k UNIQUE issues would be. If Brett has been collecting for 30 years, that's 2,267 issues per year or 189 issues per month. That's one he'll of a pull list! It'd be nice to have him as a weekly subscriber :takeit:

That is what I was thinking. If it was a guiness record they would might have rules on duplicates and such. In any case 68 thousand unique comics would be extremely difficult. Ian has a complete DC Set and I think he said he was around 22-24K.

B, B, But his collection is worth $1M. Someone should do this guy a favor and tell him to call me. I'm doing this for him, and more importantly, those Simpson Comics.
