Arex Crooke - he was supposed to meet me in Virginia Beach this Spring Break, but had a car crash of some kind, and couldn't make it. I'm hoping him and a few of his wrestlers can meet us in VB next Spring Break for Wrestling Nationals. :headbang:

I'm not going to name one single boardie, so I'll name a few:

I can't imagine another boardie having a similar ecletic mix since it is not just limited to comic books.

I think I could talk to BZ for hours and that's before the topic of comics comes up lol

 

AJD because I can understand his accent. He likes Ducks too.

 

Chromium because he understands the difference between collectors and investors.

 

Flaming Telepath because he likes to drink. I do too.

 

Joe Collector, because strange as it seems I agree with a lot of what he has had to say.

Rather than pick who I would like to meet I would send a shout out to the ones I

have met.

 

On a trip to NYC I met Count and Skypink. Had lunch and beer with Count and

he was wonderful. Took the train out of Grand Central Station to meet up with

Skypink and her husband and loved them. BFF

 

At SDCC

Oakman and his wife, a nice, true blue comic collector.

Senormac, a kind man with a crazy sense of humour. Never dull.

Bedrock, briefly met him and later in the day we passed in the crowded aisle,

far from his booth and he remembered my name and said hi. He made a customer

forever that day.

Gator, seemed very nice but his inventory scared me.

Storms and Spiderontilt, the Jekeyl and Hyde of comics. Both nice but Bob is

reserved and John very outgoing.

Bunky Bros bit drunk when I met them but seemed to love life

Steve B super nice and super smart. You get the feeling that he considers

everyone important and doesn't look down on everyone

DesignerToast flat out nice guy

Met so many at SDCC, who did I miss?

 

Greggy in Vancouver. Quiet, nice and smart.

 

Shin and houseofcomics in Berkely both super nice guys. I would share a beer

anytime with them and houseofcomics is a great guy to buy or sell comics.

 

Artboy, 500club, and Kimik. Local guys I met through the boards. All different

and all great to know and honest to the core.

 

I would like to meet Liaton some day. Very young but mature. Also like to

meet porcupine. We've exchanged PMs forever.
