OT-Does Anyone here Collect Action Figures?

46 posts in this topic

How coincidental!

I had a girlfriend that owned one of those vibrating gizmos that was Elvis themed,

she told me it even played "love me tender" while in operation.

Needless to say I later replaced it with the real Mckoy...

I love comic action figures. I have the first series of Marvel Legends, and Kingdom Come. I've the comic shop with from the Simpsons. Way cool. The King of the Hill figures cracked me up so I bought them too. I walk through Toys R Us once a month and snag what I like. Have any of you guys seen the Johnny Lightning Die Cast Cars that are feature cool comic covers by Marvel? I like them too. grin.gif

I must concur, those Kingdom Come figures are the best I've seen out there.

They actually look like the Alex Ross's photo realistic artwork!!

The only thing is... they're really high dollar $$$.

Maybe I'll catch a couple on the 'Bay. juggle.gif

as for Action figures, I do have an extensive collection, but I no longer maintain them.

GI Joe

Transformers

Go-bots

Secret Wars

Simpsons up until Wave 9 or 10, including the Toyfare exclusives

Great picks and performances...

It's always tough for me to single out any Elvis songs or movies... too many that I really like..

Movies: Blue Hawaii and Viva Las Vegas (more for the women wink.gif )

Songs: Love Me, Teddy Bear

He had so many styles though the years. I remember my first Elvis experience was listening to his Gospel renditions...

I really don't have much, compared to some people's riduculous collections.

I got about 400-500 carded figures from 95 potf up - Most are NM condition.

The original figures from the 70's thru 85 potf I have all most all but they're loose.

I guess my fav item is my Skywalker Ranch T-shirt. I've heard only the crem-da-la crem are able to go to the Star Wars Graceland and I was lucky enough to get my old boss who was a SW freak and a Milliionare to pick me up one when he went.

I'm more of an old Trilogy fan myself, and it saddens me that Lucas is dried up in comparision to his old flicks. But hey, that's life. makepoint.gif
