A cheap way to read AF15?

Hello all,

 

I recently picked up a low grade Amazing Fantasy 15 that's CGC certified. The thing is I'm dying to read it but I don't want to crack it out. I know there are reprints out there but the only ones I've seen for sale are certified and relatively high cost just to have as a reader.

 

So what's the cheapest way to go if I want to read AF15?

Download a digital copy or buy the Spiderman omnibus which has all the early Spiderman comics af15 - spiderman 30 or so

AF #15 is reprinted in Marvel Tales #137. You should be able to find a cheap copy on eBay or at your LCS.

I had the same thing, so I downloaded a digital copy complete with ads and backup stories and read it on my iPad.

 

Not the same, I know, but real nice - especially looking atthe old ads.

Buy an 8.0 and rip out the 1st 11 pages.

Perfect, thank you! What a great original story for 1962! I was surprised how accurate the Spider-man movie ended up being, with only a couple minor differences.

 

Off the top of my head the webs being natural instead of mechanical, but we all knew that. Also, in the comic Spider-man safely lowered the guy who killed Uncle Ben in a web. In the movie he let him plummet to his death.
