I got a surprise visit today from Lord FLEE. :o

To Ogami: I begin my day shortly after 4 am posting on the Boards, post throughout the morning, afternoon, & evening, mostly from my handheld device, & then sign off with a final post around 9:30 pm.

 

To DWL: that is an ancient handwritten post from a distant ancestor.

My wife had a Microsoft conference to attend in Tampa and since she was in

a nice hotel I thought I would come along and lounge around for the day. I was

taking a shower this morning and looking forward to a nice nap when the emergency

alarm in the hotel went off. Seven Fire trucks showed up and they were making

everyone evacuate their rooms. I was dripping wet, trying to get in some clothes

and grabbing all my electronic stuff. I ran outside and stood in the parking lot

for about 1/2 hour. Realizing I wasn't going to be able to sleep. I decided to

do the next best thing and go sightseeing.

 

After much thought, I decided to go to the birthplace of the Greggy-9000 standup

doll. I dropped into the printing business and asked for Tupenny and they told

me to try another location. After no luck at the second place, I decided the

element of surprise was not in the cards today. A quick PM and then a phone

call and I was in the TPC compound. It is nondescript on the outside, but on

the inside it is a high security operation. Before I could enter the executive

level, I had to undergo a background check and a prostate exam.

 

After a quick corporate tour, we headed out to eat at New York, New York

pizza and we were quickly ushered to the best table in the place. The fact

that there was only one table in the place is immaterial. We were accompanied by

Tupe's personal-assistant/bodyguard who kept the onlookers away by constantly

providing a diversion. I had a slice of Margherita pizza and washed it down

with a Mountain Dew. The current state of the boards was discussed and

the plans for 2012 were laid in place. :gossip:

 

But seriously, I want to thank Tupenny for being a gracious host and helping me kill a little

time today. :)

Here is a little more attention whoring on this subject from a recent WC thread. The chair is where are held many of the porn/pron events. Notice the distinctive pattern along the footrest area.

 

Maybe working alone is not good for you.

 

No one enters my building. I had two Boardies, lookwhoitis & KingOfRulers, enter my building about 3 months ago.

 

They looked around & asked some questions regarding what they saw. I felt compelled to answer their questions & to show them the offices, the garage, & the exterior property.

 

I didn't care for it. I was made uncomfortable.

 

I asked them to leave soon after our business completed.

 

While saying goodbye, I let them know that they wouldn't be invited back, due to no fault of their own -- & that any future meetings would have to take place at a local eatery or perhaps Starbucks.
