Who is it? Or has that already been mentioned?

Forgive my divishness, I'm a couple of months behind.

It's Bio Rupp.

It is a violation but difficult to absolutely prove they are PGX. Seems the latest

thread is designed to deliberately flaunt board rules and rub our noses in it.

I've purchased from that seller before and everything went fine but I won't in

the future and honestly, won't deal with anyone who purchases from that thread.

I know my $$ won't make or break any seller on the boards but I typically

purchase $400 - $500 per month here. Hopefully I'm not alone and this will

impact sales.

I don't know if I would go that far with it. That would be kind of like what happened to Cal, telling people not to deal with a certain seller.

We are not trying to divide the boards here.

Actually, from that thread it is obvious that he is. He expects thread crapping

and stated so in his first post. Perhaps down the road it will be reveled that

they are actually CGC books.

I've dealt with him. Seems like a nice guy and he ships as advertised but I

can't support him in the future.

I was right. Books were just revealed to be CGC. Thread designed to point

out that we couldn't distinguish between cropped CGC and PGX books and

to create conflict.

Dave, this all comes down to two board members that just cannot get along, and will go to extremes sometimes to drive that point home.

Rupp was selling CGC books, and even when I inquired what was going on, he quickly provided me full scans of the slabs.

Green and Rupp just need to stay the heck away from each other and keep the peace. But that seems kind of hard at times when a sales thread starts, and someone will post a  in the other's sales thread, just to bust balls.

Let's move on to the next big drama situation.

I understand the past drama between Green and Rupp and they go out of their

way to find fault with each other.

Do you know that the previously listed Iron Man books were also CGC?

Perhaps we need all slabbed books sold on this forum to clearly show the

label to avoid selling PGX books here.

I like your thinking here!

I remember there was another sales thread months ago where someone was selling a PGX book in Copper Age, but you couldn't tell until someone right-clicked on the image and it had "PGX' in the description.

doh!

I believe a few of the books in the recent Catman selling thread were suspected

to be PGX books.

I'm attempting to respect the selling rules and do my best to ensure that

only slabbed CGC books are sold here, I don't appreciate a thread designed

to rub our noses in it.

My guess is the Iron Man comics were CGC also.

It's moot at this point. It was his intent to create an issue.

I like Davey's idea that all graded books must show the labels in their entirety to be eligible to be sold in the selling forums. That would put an end to this sort of nonsense. We have other forms of nonsense that are much more worthy of attention.

I totally understand where you are coming from on the recommendation.

Most times when I have witnessed someone posting just the book, they have complained of not having a legal-size scanner to capture everything. But most sellers will then show a scan of the label with the image if it is such a problem.

Do we have this spelled out in the sales forum rules? If not, may be time to revisit this and cut out the noise.
