It isn't a photocopy, I guess sarcasm does not come across the internet very well. :(

The Cap 1 is 100% GA goodness, well maybe not 100% at this point. But what there is, is all original.

Not a bad price for a photocopy!

:D

Sold the first day of the show too, Dan knew the goods when he saw it.

I wanted to keep the book to be honest with you, Matt said....."No"

Big meanie that he is.

Is the book in question a little of your handiwork, Ze-man?

Great looking book Dan!!

Thanks Ryan, actually it is a lot of my handiwork.

I've been busy. :juggle:

Is it rude to ask what specifically was restored?

Not rude at all, or at least it shouldn't be. Although it is Dan's place to speak about specifics since it's his book now.

Then did it really sell for $1,250? (shrug)

How much "original" material was left?

You'll have to ask Dan about the sale price.

And a whole mess of the original was left, as in a lot. I just meant it was inaccurate of me to say 100% original since it was extensively restored.

If that book was $1250 im going to cry myself to sleep that i didnt see it and buy it lol . I assumed it was a joke because id think a Cap 1 coverless would be a couple thousand (shrug)

I asked Matt about it and he had the gall to tell me everything that had been done to it with great honesty.

I don't think anyone has ever accused Matt of failure to disclose the types of restoration for which disclosure has traditionally been considered to be required.

Quite frankly, praising him for doing this is like praising a 2nd grade math teacher for teaching kids how to do basic arithmetic. It's what he's supposed to do.
