I know the difference - but the point is that these sellers have been around for a while - they wouldn't list high unless they thought there was a POTENTIAL market.

Nonplayer - all 'asking prices' are $30.

As for ToT - I did say they were "on" for $100 in fact one guy want $900 for 3 - I didn't say they were sold.

Its a discussion board - if we all agreed it would become very boring very quick - yes?

There is a CGC copy of Walking Dead 61 on eBay right now for $200,000, but I doubt anyone will agree that this is a good indicator of potential value. If that's the case, then maybe I'll just start listing my extra Hell Yeah #1s on eBay at constantly increasing prices so you can explain to everyone how it is "heating up".

 

There is a tremendous difference between asking price and selling price, in that asking price is totally irrelevant. You can ask whatever you like...but a higher asking price doesn't change FMV...only realized sales prices affect FMV. And just because ol' Chuckie at Mile High is asking $10 each on every regular cover of WD 100, that doesn't change the fact that it's a cover price book for everyone else in the rational world. Chuckie had a raw WD #1 at SDCC for only $4000! But I digress...

 

Please let me know if you are looking to buy Revival #1 (regular) for $20. I'm sure I can find a few dozen to sell to you.

This is interesting.

 

I ordered these when IDW first listed them but when I came around to reading them 2 weeks ago (they've been sat in a box since they were released in 2011), I was missing #1.

 

I've only got #2, 3 & 4.

 

I've also got the Undercity series (#1-4).

 

Its too far gone to find out why I never got a #1. hm
