Just a heads up to the modern folks (even though this is really bronze and pre-bronze info.):

 

 

Saw sneaky shots of post-credit scenes for Wolverine #2 movie....Jean Grey as Phoenix poppin up outta nowhwere....teasing Days of Future Past.

 

So you've obviously got the DOFP issue to BOLO for, but first app. Phoenix (X-men 101) & first app. Sentinels (X-men 14) to be huntin' down like dogs.

Of course first app. Wolverine is always popular in Hulk 181 (duh).

 

 

Now back to your regularly scheduled moderns.

Right?!? With this and the Star Trek spoiler AS THE TITLE OF A THREAD in the General board, this day is just full of people spoiling mess.

 

No joke, I read about some study that showed that movies, TV, books, etc. being "spoiled" actually heightened the enjoyment of the viewer/participant.

find the first appearance of this guy, I hear he's gonna be on the S.H.I.E.L.D. show...

-Head butts like Hulk

-Shoots eye beams like Cyclops

-Tackles like Magneto

-Bench presses like the Punisher and Captain America

-Can take a punch to the gut like Wolverine and Daredevil

-Can wear a belt and arm bands with style like ?Spider-Man 2099?

-Can high-five like Spiderman

-Has the sexual prowess of ?Mr.Fantastic?

-Can squat like the Punisher (again?)

-Can burn through things with the Human Torches knees

-Has the bullet proof shins of The Silver Surfer

-And, can dance like ?the bootless High Evolutionary?

 

He was pretty cool though, regardless.

So was there a ripple effect on modern speculation when Sixth Gun didn't get picked up and some people started to sell off their copies of the books?

 

I dont spend much time in the modern market, so I thought I'd ask.

 

Looks like Saga prices have settled down a little in the last month around the same time, I dont know about other books like Revival and others...

 

So is hot a little less hot after the Sixth Gun "correction" (or how ever its being referred to).

 

[note: Im not making a dig at any collector here, Im curious, so Im asking. No judgement, no critique, no pleasure in seeing books decrease in value, just a question]

Haha. Well, I just always wondered that as a kid when I saw those adds. Like, it's not the usual like " Thing's fist's, Wolverine's claws, Cyclops' eyes, Quicksilver's legs, Colossus' torso, etc etc etc", just random body parts.

Results all over the place but not paying more than cover for any of them its hard not to be happy.
