Finally! Something I have more than one of, I was lucky enough to pick up 3 of these at a shop I went to as well as the #4 Scottie Young variant for $2 each!

 

Wow, nice price. Yea, I really the #4 variant as well.

yah, from what I see, price is flat since at least Oct/Nov on ebay. No real shift, a bit of a bump around Xmas.

Amazing Spider-man 361 First Carnage has been spiking in all grades lately. Not much for 362 or 363 though.

 

It ebbs and flows. Last spring at the big Calgary show raw 8.0 - 9.2 copies were selling fast at $40 apiece. I upped the price to $45 and $50 on the last couple after I blew through 10 or so, but there were no takers. In the fall it was dead at $40 at all shows I did.

I always buy them when the LCSs put them out at $15 - $20 (or less) in the bins or on the wall. I have a small stack of them now, with just one slabbed copy (9.6).

 

That being said, there is a Carnage vs. Deadpool mini coming out, right? We should probably see a nice spike in interest shortly as a result.

Got some #1's and 2's on preorder . Was going to get a couple variant #1's but passed as I'm not a big variant guy and the cover wasn't even shown. This book might be good right out the gate.

Everyone posting about ASM #361. These prices have been up and down for almost 6 months. I've seen them go for $100 to $180. They seem to be at around $140 on eBay now (so minus 10% and shipping). Isn't #361 one of the highest printed ASM issues ever?

Remember the letter's column in ASM 359 had a picture of the cover of 361 hyping it up. Made sure I bought 25 copies right off the bat, and was getting $20 a pop at shows when the book was only 2 months old. Those were the pre-ebay days

This is the kinda sh*t I love. Omega Men 2 is similar ( Lobo Cover/first appearance appears in the letter page )
