This is why the entire cyber bully movement makes no sense. People who show the community how evil and bad they are think they are being attacked, forgetting the direct messages they sent people showing their true colours. Get real buddy.

The Preacher done stroll into town, on a chariot made of gold.....

In less grandiose terminology, here is a Preacher #1 CGC 9.8 with 20 bids at $635 in a 7 day auction, with over 4 days left.

A pretty solid showing for a book that has over 4 days left.

.....damn, I am on the verge of saving my Preacher #1 CGC 9.8, which I subbed at Baltimore onsite/take home a few weeks back..... intil I see Ennis at The NJ Comic Expo in late November, and have it cracked open...window bagged, signed in front of CGC sig rep for a CGC SS 9.8 label. :cloud9:

I got $560 through an ebay auction around a year ago for my Preacher #1 Voldemort 9.6 Authentic Signature Series that I had signed by Ennis and slabbed by Voldemort at the 2014 Baltimore show.

I only wish I had known that Ennis was going to be at the NJ Comic Expo when I subbed my other early Preacher issues, along with my #1. doh!

If I wanted to wait 7 months to squeeze out another couple hundred bucks with 2 sigs, but nah.

I'd rather sell it now, or 2 months from now, after Ennis signs it.I'd be happy to get FMV,l through eBay, or slightly less via a boardie sale, for the book now as it is now in its' 9.8 holder.

I still have a few Preacher #8's,a #9, a #12, couple #42's and 1 or 2 Boys #1's for Ennis to sign in November....no sense in being greedy.

Been seeing a few raw alias 1 sell for above the avg in the last 36 hours or so.

Looks like the variant of the week is Teen titans hunt 1 1:25 jim lee variant.

Also saw a few preachers 1s get a price adjustment on ebay.

Not seeing as many Preacher blowouts as I've seen...8 seems to be doing better.

Alias #1 9.8 breaks the 325.00 barrier

sooooo.. almost treefiddy

Treefiddy is kinda pushing it, dawg.

But GPA certainly does show that this book is heading towards treefiddy.

No doubt, should be hitting tree fiddy, all day long.

58 CGC 9.8's have sold so far in 2015, here are the most recent sales:

Oct-22-2015 $280 Cert# 0263014002

Oct-19-2015 $275 Cert# 0778948011

Oct-15-2015 $300 Cert# 0247701015

Oct-13-2015 $225 Cert# 1222715002

Oct-13-2015 $225 Cert# 1000489014

Oct-12-2015 $250 Cert# 1342658017

Oct-09-2015 $235 Cert# 1344303001

My guess is it will take 3 more placeholder sales, intil it is a steady holder at tree fiddy.

Incididentally, I have a copy in grading at this very moment.

I will take my $350 dividend and would very much like to diversify my portfolio by parlaying my Alias #1 CGC 9.8 projected profit into a blue chip stock that Whitman, Price & Haddad will recommend to me.

To whom may I wire my funds to, kind sir?

lol

why... more alias's of course!

Look! Another raw just hit 115

I think alot of sellers put theirs online already and there isnt a flood, so demand seems to win here so far, I honestly think that by the time you get your 9.8 back this could be a 400+ book

Have you guys seen what the Rick and Morty #1 Boiland 1:50 are selling for? Last 3 have all ended over $400, with the last one almost hitting $500. Insane

I never would have guessed that book would have got so much heat.

Several of them seem to sell extremely well.

Yeah, I agree....by the time I get my Alias 1 back, it may very well be a $400 book. If you look at the trajectory it had been on, ot should be steady at $350 within 2-3 weeks...hit 375 in 4-6 weeks and then 400 in 6-8 weeks.

I think it will top off at $400.

But unlike IZombie's introduction in House Of Mystery Annual #1, which peaked at around $325 and then dropped....Alias has a crossover into the Daredevil and Luke Cage shows. That is a large part of the driving interest behind this book.

I still would like to get in on the ground floor with some blue chip stocks offered by W,P & H......just saying

Back to Preacher 1 CGC 9.8 hitting $635 with 4 days left....

The book is being auctioned by Junkdrawer, who is a longtime boardie and a legit dealer.

That said, the bidding is legit and not shilled....

This is a clear cut indictation of just how strong of a book Preacher is.

The last 2 sales of a Preacher 1, in about a week, were $720 and then $745.

The cheapest BIN of a CGC 9.8 on ebay is 800 (free shipping)

I'm going to put my 9.8 up tomorrow at (free shipping) and see it thst catches the trickle down play from the current auction. If the cheapest the book can be bought is $790 or $800, I think the current auction will hit anywhere from $750 to $850.
