That aside, why should this EVER sell for a premium? Alpha Flight 106 is barely even a $10 book and it's obviously much more significant.

For those wanting to grab these up, Earth 2 #3 is the one being touted as the 1st app. green lantern (green lantern cover). Earth 2 #2 is the 1st app. of Alan Scott and shows him smooching his friend.

you are correct (changed)....anyways i'm getting Earth 2 #2 more for Jay Garrick than the whole Alan Scott storyline. Too bad for those who like the flash and find his origin is sold out because the uproar over the Green lantern.

With the media coverage that Obama's support of gay marriage got, combined with the media attention this story is getting, its going to fetch a premium for the short term.

 

I have a feeling these aren't being bought by comic collectors.

collector's who like JSA, Earth 2, Alan Scott & Jay Garrick may want to snatch it but they might have a problem considering the press coverage....expect it to sell out of LCS's fairly quick some wed. I've always liked Earth 2/JSA stories more than the mainstream Earth 1
