Steranko's B/W noir-style work

4 posts in this topic

I'm experimenting with this style of art, and as much as I like Frank Miller's Sin City stuff, Steranko's is a little tighter, and I'd like to look at some of his stuff for reference. I tried the GIS and going through a few websites - couldn't find much. Does anyone have a source to suggest, or even better - a book to recommend?

I've only seen a couple illustrations of his (in the Steranko thread), and they look like pinups. I'm not sure of the origins.
