How many trick or treaters paid you visit?

About three dozen here. Around 7:30, I'll close the front door and leave a bucket of candy on the stoop.

about 45 so far and considering it's cold and a school night, not too bad...

 

So far 3 kids said no to the comics and 7 only wanted the comics and said no to the candy

Has anyone else had adult trick-or-treaters tonight? I just had two of them...and I don't mean non-costumed, teenage candy-scammers, or parents dressed up and walking around with their kids. The couple that just knocked on my door--a grown man and a woman--were easily in their mid/late 20s (or older), and weren't with any children that I could see. They even said "trick or treat", and acted like it was the most normal thing in the world.

 

Uh...WTF? I've been handing out candy in this neighborhood for nearly 20 years, and that's a new one on me...

only 5 so far. Not too bad considering we live in an apartment now. At our house back in Rochester, NY we would get about a 100 or so from 6 until 9pm. It was a zoo!

About 250 in one hour and then we were out of candy. They travel in herd here.

wow- i wish i could get 1/3 this many. i've had 2 so far but it's still light out. i've got 180 comics lined up by age group ready to go.

We are done here in MIchigan. Lots of little ones.

 

I had a small stack of McFarland Spidey #1's, and when I gave kids a choice... Most picked candy!!!

 

Oh well a few of them were excited

We had 80 kids. Gave out Banana Laffy Taffy, candy cigarettes and comics. We put the comics on my spinner rack and let the kids choose. Once again it was a big hit with the kids and parents.

 

The wife even helped.

Ah great. My daughter's braces came loose tonight as well. On Halloween night no less. I'm gonna catch an earful from the ortho tomorrow.
