In retrospect, looking at how you handled (and are handling) this entire situation, I am betting he's thrilled to have NOT done business with you for a whole different set of reasons aside from price.

 

At least we all got to see them and factor them into with whom we choose to deal.

 

So that's a positive to come out of this thread, but probably not the one for which you hoped.
