Deduction for fingerprint?

5 posts in this topic

In my experiences with CGC...

If the fingerprint is in a black area where the ink is removed, it grades a max of 8.5.

This counts for a fingerprint on the front or back cover.

Can't say I've had one with a dark fingerprint in a light area before.

At least...that's what I've seen from them personally.

It might be able to squeek out a 9.0.

Thanks for the input guys. It is in a black area.

I've run into the same thing with Wolverine #1. I'm trying to find a HG copy to submit... almost every copy I find has a bit of finger marks on the black cover. 893frustrated.gif
