Did anyone get the iPhone 4S?

i rarely use siri, but when i do she cracks me up. it's a male voice if you switch to french and some other languages.

 

I'm just beginning to learn the features, but aside from some hilarious entertainment Siri is quite useful. For example, say, "Text Bob" and when she ques you for what to send, verbally say however long of a text as you want. You can text really long messages in a snap, and even text while driving without even looking at your phone.

I'm using my 4s for this post. It's a great phone. Siri is great (besides being down a couple of days) and the speed is better than my old 4. The camera and video are awesome.

 

I'm eating at a sushi place right now that Siri found for me in NY.

On that note, today a guy in my unit told me to ask her where to find a hooker. So I asked, "Where can I find a prostitute" I was expecting her to say "I don't understand" and offer a Google search. But instead, "There are four escort services in your area" lol

Funny you should mention that. I was messing around with it and asked where I can have sex and Siri replied that I have 7 escorts located close to me. My wife and I were laughing so hard. lol

 

Siri can be very helpful. :)

I turned off some of the GPS updating and another process or two and it's not draining much at all.

 

There's some great tips online for that, Apple is supposed to be releasing a software update to address it.

Apple just released a service pack update that should fix the battery issue. Just sync and it should fix it
