So what is the mile high action 1-20 run worth now?

26 posts in this topic

back in the early 80's when the Dentist paid around $20-30k (an unheard of @ the time 2-3 x guide)for the action 1-20 run, many of the experts in the hobby thought he was crazy

wonder if these experts are still in the hobby today.

what do todays comic experts think the run is valued @ now?

I don't know what those mile highs graded at, but I'm sure Action 2 doesn't sell for even 10% of Action 1. Probably a lot less.

Maybe $2.2-2.5m -- assuming that Mile High is a 9.0 or better. Maybe $3m for the whole set since it is mile high?

Still an amazing return.

Nope, some of those highest graded early actions (if they are as nice as expected to be) would each be 6 figure books with a lot of 5 figure books sprinkled in between.

I'm guessing more than this for just the #1

$2

:screwy: The prices are clearly marked on each book. :screwy:

Actually, not really that crazy at all since this was pretty well how the price was determined when Chuck first brought the books from the family at 10 cents a copy. (tsk)

pfftttttt.......................thats all hearsay
