Pendragon is a museum, good luck finding anything at a reasonable price. They have incredible books, but YOU get to look at Zerox copies, and generally even common silver is priced at 1 and a half X guide.

 

While his sticker prices may be high, Darcy is willing to deal if you're spending a couple of hundred $ or so. And the store atmosphere is just so right.

Though it did have some major competition from Dragon Lady (formerly at 200 Queen St. West) during that period.

 

I used to love going down to Dragon Lady back in the day when they were into comics..... :luhv:

 

Discovering Dragon Lady in 1979 was what prompted me to start collecting, big time!
