Doesn't anyone visit the magazine forum?

I wish there were more activity in Magazines but it's also a refreshing change from Comics General where sometimes it is work to keep up with things.

I have a few decent recent magazine acquisitions, but they're not comic-book style. After getting interested in Warren magazines I started hunting down After Hours mags, and from there I started finding other similar vintage girly mags that I think are pretty cool -- so I will post a couple. (Note: They tend to be "soft core" if even that, so it's more about the vintage style than it is about the lust.)

Reporting for duty!

Unfortunately there seems to be little enthusiasm on this forum for any magazines other than the Warren and Skywald horror ones. Very few comic fans seem to have any interest in the hot rod humour mags for example.

You are welcome to lead the way here. I for one loved CarToons magazine as a kid. Also gotta love the EC picto-fiction mags, Pussycat and similar Bill Ward stuff, Wicked Wanda and Annie Fanny, and magazine-sized comics based on movies. Oh, and National Lampoon stuff, and Heavy Metal, and Man's Story (not comics but similar cover art to many comics). I also enjoy non-comic mags like old Games, Spy Magazine, pin-up stuff (After Hours, Satan, etc.), Dragon (geek out!), etc. Will be happy to read and post about all sorts of mags if people want to...

I miss Spy Magazine. That was a good read. If you liked Spy I would recommend picking up copies of The Nose if you should run across any.
