In preparation, I recently read the first three Dredd Case files, getting me through quite a bit of material. :cloud9:
Good stuff. (thumbs u I'm currently on the fourth Case File right now.

I'd also recommend The MEGA-CITY Masters series.

The big helmet look is still worrying me, but we shall see. But then again, depending on who was drawing Dredd he was either a mini-Hulk or a lean guy with really wide shoulders. So proportion was never a requirement for the character.
