That sure is a scary cover. Last thing you want is a big ol' ornery Mountian Man huggin ya like a pillow!

Very "Deliverance."

 

After flipping thru, I saw it was continued next issue, which surprised me, since I thought only #10-15 had new stories. Luckily, I picked up a #16 at the same show and sure enough, it was another new story.

 

And strangely enough, it has a very "Combat Kelley" type ending, which Freidrich also wrote. He must not have liked leaving loose ends for others.

Oops. You're right. I thought maybe just Janson's inks were really heavy on this one. But GCD and other sites say Milgrom.
