Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

So I got to see it tonight with some friends at 7pm. Overall it was very campy, but a fun movie. Idris Elba stole the show IMO. Some scenes felt a little too Sin City-ish, while other scenes looked like a comic book (which was pretty awesome). The 3-D wasn't horrible but I would save your money. It had a very easy plot to follow, so if you're going in not knowing anything about Ghost Rider, don't worry.

I'd give it a C+. Anyone else see it yet?

I was planning on seeing it. I have mixed emotions about putting more Ghost Rider money into their hands after what just happened, regardless of who is technically right and who is technically wrong.

Is Nic Cage in this film ?
Yes.

Count me out. I never saw the first one, but was thinking of trying this one for spoons and giggles, but I simply cannot stand watching Nic Cage. It's odd. Everything I've seen him in annoys me. (shrug)

I love unhinged Cage so I'll go...I was thinking of skipping it because of the Marvel Ghost Rider ruling, but I want them to keep making these crazy things.

Drive Angry 3D was very entertaining...hopefully this has that same over the top flavor.

I agree. Drive Angry was a great Cage film, and I'm proud to say he's one of my favorite actors. I always recommend Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call as one of his masterpieces.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call

I love this movie. It would still be awesome if 99% of it was Fran Drescher screaming, but still contained the Iguana scene.

....and/or the part where the guy gets shot again because his soul is still dancing.
