ComicConnoisseur Posted November 16, 2012 Share Posted November 16, 2012 For me, it has a certain "joy" about it (like in issue #5 when Alana and Marko are driving the ship while getting away from the soldiers and Hazel laughs) or "hopelessness" for a powerful being (like the Will not being able to free the slave girl). The flawed nuclear family set-ups of characters making their way across the cosmos is quite gripping and very "human". This series will never let me down if it keeps firing on all cylinders of emotions and never comes across comic-booky or shallow. OK you convinced me, so I will keep reading it.
