Why would you sign a Black cover with Black ink?

 WHY!?!?!

Isn't that why we have Brightly colored Sharpies & Metallic Ink pens? :pullhair:

Did you have a Solar 10 signed?

Type FAUST SPEC. EDITION #1 1988 CGC 9.8 SIGNATURE SERIES SIGNED BY TIM VIGIL RARE on ebay and you'll see what I mean.

If it weren't for some white lettering on the cover you would completely miss it. :(

Btw it is not mine.

[font:Book Antiqua]Well, this is a great opportunity to show

how disappointed I am with some facilator service in this board.

I cut and make a window in the plastic where the signature should be,

also I wrote in BIG LETTERS “SILVER INK”

Well it comes back with black ink in a grey area...[/font]

the only downside for sending in comics to be signed is you can't control it S: When I go to a con my self I always bring my own markers just incase ... multiples cause i normally wind up loosing a few D'oh!

There are situations where the creator may not take specific requests for pen color, for instance a couple of years ago at a show Jim Starlin said he wouldn't use a silver pen(I don't know if that has changed).

i don't think that Hulk 600 looks too bad

I mean, it's a grey area, not a black area, right? I don't think the sig needs to be the most noticeable thing on a CGC SS comic anyways. I understand if it's on a black area, but great isn't too bad in my opinion.
